I offer online individual, couples, and family therapy for people across Washington State, ages 11 and up. Together we might work on anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, relationship patterns, identity and culture, codependency, parenting, divorce, and life transitions. I welcome LGBTQ+ clients, polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous relationships, and kink-friendly clients.

Book a free 15-minute call by phone or video using the button on this page. There's nothing to prepare. We'll talk about what's bringing you in and whether we seem like a good fit. If we do, I'll send you paperwork by email through SimplePractice to complete before our first session. After that, your appointments happen through the secure video portal there, and your invoices, reminders, and records are all in one place. Here's the full path from first call to first session.

We talk about why you're seeking therapy and go over the way I work.

I'm gentle but direct. I bring humor, unconditional positive regard, and infinite curiosity to the conversation. I'm bicultural, and many of the people I work with are Korean and Korean American women, couples, and adult children of immigrants. Our clinical work is in English, and I'm conversational in Korean, so you're welcome to use Korean words, family sayings, or cultural references. I'll understand what you mean without needing a long explanation. I also look at the families and relationships that shaped you, and we build practical tools you can use in everyday life.

Sessions won't feel like a lecture, and they won't feel clinical. We work on understanding the "why" behind your patterns, not just managing the symptoms. I bring warmth, humor, and honesty, and I'll never make you feel judged for where you're starting from. You're the expert on your own life, and I'm here to help you see what's hard to see from the inside. I'm not a "blank slate." In our time together you'll see my personality, and it's always my honor to witness yours.

Yes. I'm in-network with Aetna, Cigna/Evernorth, First Choice, Regence, Premera, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare (commercial and Medicaid), and Medicaid Wellpoint. It's your responsibility to know how your coverage works, so please check your benefits before booking, including your copay, deductible, and any session limits.

I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Most insurance companies offer superbill reimbursement, but I cannot guarantee that yours will.

I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots each week, based on my caseload, with a floor rate of $50 per session. A sliding scale spot is for people who aren't covered by an insurance company I'm in-network with, and who can cover basic needs but are facing a high level of outside stress that's causing a significant crisis. You can ask about it on our free call.

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. If I can reschedule you within the same week, there's no charge. A late cancellation or no-show fee of $100 applies. After a second no-show, your weekly session slot is released.

Yes, ages 11 and up. Teens 13 and older can start therapy without a parent's consent, but I always encourage kids to invite parents into sessions to work on communication, if they're willing and it feels safe.
-
Yes. I work with therapists and other mental health professionals who are carrying a lot, from compassion fatigue to burnout.

If you are willing to try, it's right for you.

It helps if you're both invested, but I've often found that showing up is enough to start a conversation, which, given the right container, can lead to greater understanding.
