A woman in a yellow knitted sweater standing outdoors in front of a cherry blossom tree. She has long dark hair, and in one photo, she is looking directly at the camera with a serious expression. In the other photo, she is smiling with her eyes closed. The background includes a wooden fence, a blue house, and some greenery.

“We are not resilient because we can survive hard things.

We are resilient because we can create joy, love, and hope even after surviving hard things.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in positive regard: I recognize each client as a multifaceted individual with a complex history. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can openly explore their internal and external experiences, free from judgment and criticism. Like many of my colleagues, I believe that clients are the “experts of their lives,” so I prioritize a collaborative therapeutic relationship, ensuring that clients retain autonomy and agency throughout the process. Above all else, the quality of the therapeutic relationship plays a huge role in successful therapeutic outcomes, so it’s okay to be picky!

As a family therapist, I am trained to consider systemic factors—such as family dynamics, education, work stressors, socioeconomic status, and the many societal ‘isms’—that can impact overall well-being and mental health. In my practice, I utilize a strengths-based approach and implement therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Therapy for individuals (age 9+), couples, and families. Therapy with children under the age of 13 typically involves a family-centered approach, which requires some level of parent involvement. Active parental involvement is essential for children’s therapeutic progress, as children need the support of their caregivers to effect meaningful change.

I work with all populations, but immigrants, children of immigrants, those who identify as part of two or more cultures, teens, first-time therapy seekers, new parents, blended families, and other therapists tend to be "my jam."

I received my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Psychology from Antioch University Seattle, where I also completed my Master of Arts in Couple and Family Therapy. I am fully licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Washington.

Couples / Relational Therapy

Couples or relational psychotherapy focuses on the relationship itself, not just the individuals involved. It helps partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their connection by identifying and changing unhealthy patterns.

Individual Therapy

Emotional wounds can both occur and heal in relational contexts. Therapy should be a safe and judgment-free environment where you can explore your internal world without the expectations of reciprocal emotional labor found in traditional relationships. This kind of safety is my hope for everyone’s healing journey, and it is an honor to provide it.
